Mon mam cymru
Mon Mam Cymru - Anglesey Mother of Wales.
It has been suggested that the name Môn refers to a mother Goddess such as Modron mother of Mabon.
The Isle of Anglesey, or Ynys Mon as it is known in Welsh, is a really beautiful place.
For me personally, I love the combination of its rural and coastal beauty.
And I particularly love the ancient Celtic legacy.
That it was possibly a special place for the Druids. Their last stronghold prior to the Roman invasion in A.D.60.
In the parish of Llanidan alone , where Brynsiencyn is located, there are circa 7 prehistoric /neolithic sites - ranging from burial chambers, standing stones and fortifications.
But the best evidence of the special beauty of the Island and North Wales, is shown in videos and pictures.
