Taid is our cosy 15ft traditional shepherd’s hut for two, a peaceful little hideaway made for slowing down, switching off and enjoying the quieter side of Anglesey. Inside, clever use of space makes Taid surprisingly comfortable. The double bed with memory-foam mattress folds away during the day to reveal bench seating and a table — perfect for breakfast, a glass of wine or simply sitting together after a day exploring the island. The compact kitchen has a beautiful granite worktop and everything you need for simple self-catering, including a twin electric hob, mini fridge, sink, kettle, toaster and coffee-making facilities, together with crockery, glasses and cooking utensils. Useful storage beneath the seating gives you space to tuck belongings away during your stay. Taid also has its own private ensuite shower room, with shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with locally made guest soap from North Wales. Small it may be, but Taid is certainly not just for sunny days. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove make the hut wonderfully warm and cosy when the weather turns cooler — there's something rather lovely about coming back from a windswept Anglesey walk and lighting the fire. Outside, you're surrounded by the peaceful rural atmosphere of Cwtch@Hafod, making Taid a lovely base for exploring Anglesey, the coast and nearby Eryri (Snowdonia) — or simply doing very little at all. For an extra treat, our jacuzzi-style hot tub can be booked separately for your exclusive use during your stay, subject to availability.
